The year 1994 was a pivotal year for Jungle music and it's direction which had split paths with Hardcore music, however, some promoters still like to promote the new wave of Jungle music with Happy Hardcore music and Techno putting them all in different arenas at the same raves. However, the Jungle scene was commanding enough respect and throwing its own raves and creating its own market. Jungle tracks were even being released into the mainstream UK Commercial Pop Charts, with tracks like Incredible - M-Beat Feat. General Levy, and, Original Nuttah - Shy FX feat. UK Apachi.
The rave scene was immense with nights been run every weekend and even midweek. Out to the ravers that reached down to Innersense, Elevation, Jungle Splash, Jungle Fever, Thunder & Joy, Orange, Roast, Club Labyrnth, Jungle Book The Rave, Telepathy, Desert Storm, Jungle Magic, AWOL, Pure X, Jungle Mania, Desire, and many other epic nights.
Also shout out to crew that reached down venues like: London Astoria, Wax Club, Raw Club, Lazerdrome, Camden Palace, Brewery Rd N1, Tasco Warehouse, Hippodrome, The Sanctuary (Milton Keynes), Que Club (Birmingham), and all the landmark nightspots that cater for Jungle raves in 1994 and throughout the 90s.
